Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Wizard in red robes?

In Broken Valley, near the place with three people sleeping, there is some sort of stone circle. When I went there, I wizard in red robes arrived, gave me three goblins to fight with and disappeared. What was that all about?

I wish he hadn't disappered, perhaps he could have told me what to do with the scrolls which have some words I do not understand..

berengar. ive seen him a few times in broken valley. i believe hes connected to a few quests and happenings in the valley itself.
i think we will discover more as we explore the valley deeper in.

as for the scrolls. look elsewhere for help with them.

He is a "comic relief" character in the game. A crazy and powerful mage who doing things just for the lulz :P

Was this in the ruins to the east of the tower? I've Done the other 3 fights, but I can't figure out how to get to the top of the plateau. I'm probably missing something obvious, but how did you get up there?
