Im in the cave where he is and i can see a group of warriors but the way is blocked by one of those orange shimmering forcefields (the sort that blocked doorways in maxos temple and on sentinel island)

how do i remove that forcefield and confront ragon?

Find 4 stone plates and step on them in correct order.

bah, i thought those were trap plates so avoided stepping on them to get the chests at the end of the hallway.

ill go back and brave stepping on them.
