got 2 options :

1 Wait for a fix or something, i doubt it xD
2 Get your money back and wait for a solution, If no solution appears buy another game,
u'll be sure to play smoothly with high settings.

Either your computer has been on for a while (few days) and needs a reboot or something got corrupdated.

Uninstall/reinstall the game if a PC reboot doesn't solve this. Your save game shouldn't be effected by the uninstall.

You might have to update your video card drivers if problem still persists.

Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?

Those solutions don't work, with that he will only get upset and throw the game through the window.
My solution is easy and works great on all platforms smile It's not a computer problem... it's the game

All the games till this one works great, this one doesn't, maybe the engine? let the larian stuff tell us whats going on here.

The stuttering is caused by peaking CPU cycles. If you run a CPU meter during gameplay, then alt-tab out, you'll see that the CPU is at 100%.

If you have Vista or Win7, then there is a tweak you can do to make the game more playable. You still get the stuttering, but it is hardly noticeable.

-Run Windows Task Manager
-Start the game and leave it at main screen
-In Task Manager(under the processes tab), right click the Divinity2.exe, and set priority to high.
-Alt+Tab back to the game and play.

Also turn on Timeslice Shadow updates.

The game may hang when you exit out, so you may have to kill the process manually.

Yes i have the game, not original english version, it's easier to delete than to throw 20 bucks. Never said i hated the game, it's just that other games " better or worse " and they all run 100% with the settings u put.
I've got problems too with the game under W7, and to be honest i'd rather not play it than play it 10min and uninstall it.

Hun... Is that true where you live?
Here in Brazil we can't get any money back after we buy a game that don't work.
They just say that it is my fault and i need to buy a better computer.

The developers need to think twice before release something that don't work.

Yes it's true here where i live they give you the money back if it doesn't work, and sometimes if you like something in the store change it for something else.

I believe, in Belgium it is also NOT possibly to bring a game back and have your money back!
Maybe in Belgium you can change it for another game of the same prize or they give you a purchase worth of the game you bring back ... but I think it isn't possible in Belgium.

Maybe there're gameshops who give you "the chance" to try out first the game you will buy ..?
But also I think something is only possible with consolegames and NOT with pc-games!
(but I'm not 100 % sure)

AFAIK there is a new patch to be released soon that will get over those problems. I also think that the english version doesnt have the latest patch installed (wich is only available in german i think), thus accounting for the major complains around.

Shame Larian had to release the english version like this, dunno if it was a distributor fault or pressure to release earlier than larian was ready, or if it was larian that was late on the release of the "fix-it" patch.
