I'm guessing it increases your defense, since I have the rest of the chain mail and my defense is much lower than my offense. I'm getting killed way too easily. I'm hoping it didn't depend on reading someone's mind because I might be out of luck if that's the case.

Some of the part is only able to obtain by reading the mind of some mini boss, but you can choose not to do so, as there are alot of dragon armor parts in the game, unless you purposely wanted to get the set of armors with the same series. Now I had bout 6 to 7 unuse part of dragon armor lying in my inventory, where I just mix and match the parts with skills boost which I like.

I skip Svadilfari's part and Bellegar's part so far.

Those are both pretty fun. You should give them a go. I just wanted that piece for the defense boost that I figure it must give, rather from wanting to match the set.

If I remember correctly, Svadilfari's dragon armor boost 40% mp, where the one I using boost 40% hp. That why I prefer not to waste bout 3k exp for that armor.

Well unless getting the exactly same sets for all 4 pieces will had extra bonus, else I dont see the needs to get all from the exactly series.

Nope, no need at all. I'm just hoping to find a piece that I need, and I thought it might be that one.

i've still got the bone set... some adamantium claws would be nice!

found the chain-mail tailpiece questing in the Orabos Fjords.. and i think it was the High Hall Mines, in a locked chest (which probably means it's a random drop). reading that flying demon's mind also got me the chain-mail dragon helmet.

and btw, chain-mail tail piece gives you +1 Fire sphere (again, a possible random stat - but not sure, will check again this evening and confirm)

The dragon armor parts aint important at all, unless you still havent get a part to equip your dragon. So equipping what is not actually important, as you will get more than enough dragon skill point to max majority all skill to rank 5. I had all skill at rank 5, lvl1 shield and lvl 0 morph, and there still around 6 to 7 unused skill points left.

@ACSS you are right... now i've got 0 morph and pretty much everything else at 5 barring summon wyvern which is at 4

sad part is bonuses don't stack. so i've got 5/5(+1) for Dragon Spirit but it's still only 5!
