How do I get in there? The undead kill me before I can make it up the first ladder. Is there another way around them, or am I stuck here for good?

I'm level 4, if that helps.

ur way too low i thnink ^^ level 8-9 you should go there.. jsut quest around a lot more in broken valley before checkig on the high guys

So, what do you suggest I do in the meantime?

(I mean, what kind of quests should I do?)

Divinity II is much deeper and have many quests HIDDEN, do not be caught of this !

Talk to NPC's and Mindreading also help to discover new area and new quests!
I go the first time to the platform (where you meet Talana!) when I was level 8 or 9 !

Look often to your map and read your logbook to find clues about quests ...

Edit: have you done, par example, the quest for Dana? Or the quest for the Upton Miller? Or the quest for Quincy, Sir Richard, the merchant you find in the Black Boar Inn, etc .... Or find "hints" that NPC's or books gives you !?

So, this game is more that only following a mean quest ... you can dicover so many other things !

And the cost(XP) of Mindreading is full worth it, I find!

go back to the first village and try to finish all tis quest. explore the are at the start and you should be around at least 8-7 I think and then you can explore the are around the tower, and when ur ready you can go. Take ur time and explore everything u have all the time in the world.
