Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems Giving up on this game still have not played

OK I am giving up on this game for now. I have installed it countless times made sure the required Directx, C++ , Physx drivers etc are installed. The game just will not start click on the shortcut nothing try and run it direclty from the EXE nothing. NO errors . The Divinty2.EXE appears in the process list for a few seconds then disappears.
I have been in contact with the develops - no response be in contact with Securom useless responses . So until I can see a real fix for my issue this game goes back on the shelf

I have read your other posts about this and the common denominator is: your game never fully installs from the DVD. Take it back for an exchange.

One more thing that may prevent the complete installation is the running of software utilities such as those by McAfee or Norton. They tend to take over your system and prevent you from doing anything. Had problems with McAfee security Suite on a clients PC with Vista, while trying to install software.

Hope you get it fixed for you are missing out on a REALLY great game!
