Yup, I hope this does well for Larian and CDV.
My Favorite RPGs: Divinity franchise, Gothic franchise (including Arcania, so I think I'm alone...), Venetica, Risen, Two Worlds II, The Witcher, Sacred franchise, Fallout franchise, Mass Effect 1, Alpha Protocol, Planescape: Torment, Drakensang, KOTOR 1 & 2, etc.

Good score. This game is a gold mine of fun and deserves every bit of recognition it can get. A lot of love went into making this game, that much is obvious.

I'm curious to see the Gamespot & IGN reviews. Both sites gave Divine Divinity good reviews back in the day.

Yeah, I am wanting to see Gamespot's take as well. It would not surprise me if it got hammered, but it would be nice if they focused on the love this game was made with and graded it according to the core experience.
It is a gold mine of content and variety. What's more, is that none of it feels forced or tacked on. The RPG elements are also quite solid and leveling up rarely has felt more rewarding for me. There is just an atmosphere and old school quality in this game that gives me feelings I used to get when I was a kid. Yet, it feels fresh at the same time.

I'm surprised that we have to wait until the US version is released to get reviews of the game published.

Gamespot could go either way. They gave that turd Two Worlds a 7.0 on 360 and a 7.5 on PC, so I'm not counting them out yet. They could give it a half decent score. Gamespot reviews are generally crap, though.

Gamespot reviews are generally crap, though. I think it would be fair if they gave it a 7.5. Based on my experience thus far, I would give it an 8.5, but that is being generous because I can easily overlook the technical flaws. The core of the game itself is just that good in my opinion, and that is what is important to me.

I expect a 7.0 from Gamespot (same score as Risen & Drakensang) & 8.5 from IGN (same score as Risen).

I expect a 7.0 from Gamespot (same score as Risen & Drakensang) & 8.5 from IGN (same score as Risen). If Gamespot gave a 7.0 to Drakensang, it would be a travesty for D2 to get any less than an 8.0. In my opinion, D2 is 2 points higher than Drakensang on a 10 point scale. Anyway, congrats on the good reviews so far.
