Before you read, I take it everyone is enjoying Divinity 2 - good then I shall begin.

Wow, tough time to be an action RPG about Dragons, huh? But Divinity II has on thing over EA's more famous Dragon Age - it lets you transform into one of the winged beasts, then swoop around freely, making toast of an entire medieval open world. Needless to say, this is awesome. Everyone loves dragons - even knights, although they don't like to say so.
Sadley, to get to this stage you have to plod around on two feet for hours on end, which is a somewhat less exhilarating experience. There's a clever levelling-up system at work, but the combat is disappointingly floaty and unsatisfying. You can read the minds of the in-game non-player characters, though, which does offer some a amusment.

The pacing and build-up to become a Dragon Knight was perfect and I would do it again and again and again!!

Like I said lazy review. Totally missed the point of the very meaning of the game and it does not end there... disappointed such a small coverage, the wording, and the overall score. As always the reviewer has just watched the rolling demo movie from the title screen as he could not be bothered to put real quality time in to it. sad...

It sounds like they'd rather have Lair 2.0 than an actual RPG.
