where do i find the two trees that are by ruins of some dude and past champions but not past goblins. and why cant i walk past those effin forcefeilds?

you have to level up then go back to broken valley in your dragon form. there is a portal that will take you through a fortress and another portal that will dump you into the other side of the force field. i took me 4 hours to figure that out. i still dont know how to lower that force field though.
