Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems SPOILERS!!! character stuck after helping sleepers

I was able to wake up the first sleeper who wanted the potion. Then I used mind reading to learn what the other two needed. I went back to town and got the two items and went back to the sleepers. When I gave the 2nd sleeper the beer, he woke up, but I was frozen in place. I could open the menu screen, inventory, etc.. but I could not move and could not talk to him. I was able to save the game, but had to exit all the way out to windows. When I loaded that save game the 2nd sleeper immediately talked to me and I was able to continue on.

Then the same problem happened with the 3rd sleeper twice. First after she woke up just like it happened with the 2nd sleeper. So I repeated the work around and it worked. Then my character was frozen again after all 3 ran off.

When I did the work around that time, I was immediately drawn into a conversation with the girl who was no longer even there. Then I was able to continue on normally.

I'm having a similar issue. I haven't tried the work around you have since it sounds like it doesn't quite work right. I can't even get as far as Deaden did. I mindread them, give them what they want and immediately get suck. Can access menus, move the camera up and down, but can't move or talk with the person after waking them up. And I can only do one at a time, so the other two won't get done.

Any suggestions? Need help here please.

When game stuck @ cutscene, press quicksave, then quit the game, then run it again and load that quicksave.
