Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Chicken Soulforge

I've perused the topics here a bit but was unable to find an answer for this question that's been nagging me! Any help is appreciated to satiate my curiosity.

I forget where exactly in the game, but there is a character that has been soulforged with a chicken, but has lost the animal. I was able to find the right chicken easy enough and found that killing it results in the man's death. My boyfriend and his brother have both tried chasing the chicken back up to where the soulforged man is but have been unsuccessful.

Has anyone ever managed to reunite man and chicken or is it even possible? If so, what type of reward do you receive?

There no reunion happening in the game. You just need to kill the white chicken to unlock an achievement and that end the case.

Actually no, you have to kill the 10 other surrounding chickens (exactly 10) and the white chicken turns into a chest, opening it and nothing inside but go back to the man and he is also a chest lol and he has a piece of armour, a scroll and a charm in there.

I just killed all the other chickens in the area and nothing happened. I'm positive the only things in that area now is the white chicken and some rabbits. The normal chickens I killed were near the guy and the ruins so did I miss something or was that a joke/lie.

There was a ring alike arena near the soul forged guy, where you can easily recognize by a lot pillars forming a big circle, and its the place where bellegar appears to release a demon upon you. The white chicken is just there.

I know. That's what I meant by ruins. I just wanted to know if the white chicken really turns into a chest or not.

Actually I didn't believe. I knew it was a joke when I killed the chickens. I just wanted to see if chrol would admit it.

A screenshot would be really good. I guess everyone is waiting for your killed white chicken turning into treasure chest screenshot.

Actually there is a note or a mindread there somewhere...maybe the fortune teller, says to FOLLOW the little white (somethingorother) to recieve great treasure... not sure how it works because the chicken got close and was automatically poisoned LOL

The fortune teller is talking about a white rabbit that appears down stream abit. Anyway I don't care about the chicken chest anymore.
