I just assumed you didnt get your creature till after you got the tower for yourself etc. but I hear pll saying I took maxos tower out using my creature? and other times that seem to be b4 you get batte tower.

So when and from who and where do u get creature.?

There is a necromancer who will build you a creature in a cave at the north of the broken valley near a teleporter (look for a goblin village and a big door).

You have to do a quest first (kill some of his old creatures in the mine and get the crystal skull) and you get a creature.
