Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Help Getting Started

Hi all, I live in Australia and I have just bought the United Kingdom version of Divinity 2 over the internet. I haven’t a clue what version it is , but I assume it is the latest one.
I was wondering if there are any cheats, tricks available for the game. I was also wondering if any of the cheats for Divinity1 and Beyond Divinity will work on Divinity2.
I have noticed people talking about steam trainers for Divinity 2. Would someone please tell me what these are and if they are helpful for beginners.
Any other helpful info would be greatly appreciated . Thanks

You don't need to cheat in this game at all, Set it to easy if you are unsure until you are used to it, but this game is much more rewarding when you complete something on your own.
I have nothing against cheats per say on a single player game. I very rarely used cheats unless I have finished the game once and want to see some areas or do something I could not accomplish at all in the first play but then again it is rare.

There are no updates for that version yet, but a patch should be released 'soon'.

The save format has changed significantly, so none of the DD or BD cheats are applicable. The stat and skill system has also changed, but you can check out topics like Character Optimization to get an idea of how to build an effective character.

Radic, I know that for some people the struggle of the journey is just as important as the journey itself. However there are other people who just want to enjoy the ride and want to make it as simple and easy as possible. I am one of those people and I only play single player games.

Do you know anything about the divinity 2 trainer files that are about. I have found some on a site called I need file.com, and I was wondering if they are worth downloading?

I am not familiar with any of the trainers, and they have barely been mentioned in the forum.

Raze, thanks again, but I have a bigger problem, I cant get the game to run.I hope it is because I may not have enough Ram to run the game. I am going to install 2Gig of Ram and try again.
I have no doubt that if this fixes this problem, I will run into others.LOL
