Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Temple of Doom wheres the key to treasure room?

I can't get into the treasure room where 2 chest are...says can't lockpick it but I can't seem to find the key or switch required to open it please someone help me.

I would liketo know this as well....except I can't go back there cuz I have finished the dungeon...

I have clean all rooms with a comb, it must be a switch or something or they key is not in the temple at all...

If this is the room right after all you get passed the room that poisons you to death (yea tough time getting through that for me), the only way to open that door is to get the Key which is on the Statue left Horn (I believe when climbing the ladder), but it is only visible if you mind-read.......and that is the part I can't remember who it was that you needed to mind read for it to be visible. Others in here may remember.

Did you need to read someones mind in order to find the key?

That is the thing as I can't remember!

I saw the key but I somehow know that somewhere I read someone's mind that key=horn-statue=left or right, listen I am working from memory here all I know is that I remember reading an NPC and/or mob's mind and saw a reference to a horn and statue, so I assumed it had to do with the key being there. If someone could correct or enlighten me? It would be awesome!

Ye your right..because I haven't read that ones mind yet and I have read many minds I think all in broken valley atleast.

No I haven't found the guy to mindread yet...going save quest until I do

There a guy in bandit camp, which give you a quest to assist his group in robbing the merchants on the road. When you mind read him, you will know where the key will be.

OK thanks, actually where is the bandit camp? I can't seem to find it either lol. If it is the one I think it is where Temple of Doom is located, I can't seem to stop them from attacking me...how do I stop them from attacking me?

A half buried chest won't open when I try to in the Temple of Maxos:
I thought the key that opened it was the one on the lamp but that doesn't seem to work with the chest.

Yes it the small camp where temple of doom is located at, where you need a password to enter it. I guess you had reported to the seeker's lieutenant in broken valley barracks regarding the bandits hideout, else they wont attack you if you havent.

The half buried chest is bug. And there are actually few more bugged chests in the game. Some has no loot when you open it.
