Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems scrolling problem..

I just installed Divine Divinity again, because its been a while since I played it and felt like playing it again. Anyway, after installing the game and starting a new character, I moved around a bit, picked up the sandals and potions, and went to the chest and got the gold, but when I went to scroll up I went up too far and its all black now and I cant scroll back down either.

Also, when I click on the ladder in the next room, my character disappears and nothing else happenes the screen doesn't change either.

And finally when I try out the Direct 3D setting and try to test it it just stays in a black screen, although I can exit using alt + f4.

Although I tried playing Divine Divinity with all 3 settings(I dont have Glide).

I have a Pentium 4 1.53 GHz 80 GB Hdd, DirectX 9 and Radeon 9000 Pro if its any use lol (just posted some of my pc's specs cause most people seem to include them)

Make sure the caps-lock and num-lock keys are off.
Holding the shift key down lets you move the focus of the screen away from your character, but if caps-lock is enabled it is not terribly difficult to loose track of your character. It can also cause the problem you are having going up the ladder.

PS the Direct 3D test has a problem with Radeon cards, but if you check the 'Skip Test' box (then hit Test, then Apply) the game should work fine.

If anyone have problem like that clik capslock several times(make sure after that its off) and it will automatically center on Your character <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
