Im kinda stuck on what to do. I am at lvl 11,I have Lovis stone, quest marker says go to maxos temple. Before going though I thought to go to Bandit camp and do some quests but when I get in first room I keep getting poisened. I have read to follow the lines of blood between corpses. Still the enemys and, I guess, just the floor kills me quick. Am I just to low a level? Should I do maxos temple first. I went to a place just running around and some folks blew up a door to enter a mine area I think, but was warned not to go in there yet, should I proceed? And lastly, what the hell is the hellgate? and should I leave it alone too. I ask these questions because so far in game I have made choices that have eliminated doing other things and I would like to avoid that in this area. Thanks

Follow the body trail and if you have a nice bow or some ranged magic you should be able to take the skelles out with no problem.

I pretty sure that I was about level 11 also when I did that. I know it soesnt exactly answer your question but I hope it helps.

Poison room. If you have a bow you can go to the edge of the floor and take out the skeletons on the right. You can folow the blood and jump up on a ledge and take out the skeleton on the left.
If you dont have a ghost that can heal you up I would advise to spend a point on that. It helped me quite a bit at lower levels.

Also; I have discovered that 2h weapons seem to be the best to use in this game. But thats just me.

Allright...finally made it thru poison room and skels. Climb up a bunch of ladders near waterfall, meet Jargon, follow him upstream behind waterfall and go thru door, we meet agin and fight.....heres the prob.....kills me dead instanly almost....I am at level 12 now, 2 handed sword. I have lvl 3 fireball. I cant stay away from him to even get time to drink potions to stay alive...becoming quite frustrating.

Once I get past him am I then at Bandit Camp?

Well let me put it this way there will be no more battles after him if my memory serves me correctly and you will be back at the bandit camp in no time. I would stay as far away as possible and whittle him downas much as possible with your fire balls or if you have one your bow.

Get to atleast! level 13 before Maxos' Temple or you will struggle.

I have the same question. What the heck is with that hellgate thing? It's out there in the middle of nowhere and when you defeat it it disappears and seems to have no relation to anything. Does anybody have a clue what the idea was there or was the developer just smoking something "different" that day?

If you had a creature with you, defeating jagon aint hard at lvl12. I kill him easily with bow without even using a single healing potion. There are terrain which you can shoot an arrow or 2, then take cover behind some rocks to prevent his arrow. Creature will help a lot here by distracting him or even become the tank.

I fished the chest in the new mine till i got a lv4 mage head magic missel .It can take out most all you meet. All you have to do is hide behind tree or rock.
