Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Stuck on the first battle in Hall of Echoes.

I'm level 34, I've got all my dragon skills maxed out and covered in armour. I go into the Hall of Ehcoes and there's all those memory eaters and nest towers. The problem is I can't take out the nest towers. I dive down at full health, and in the five seconds it takes to destroy one I'm suddenly rolling over dead. I don't even know what hits me.

So I try to keep my distance and take out the memory eaters first, and I'm just overwhelmed by them (naturally because they're spawning from the towers that I can't destroy).

So I'm assuming either my level is way too low, but I've done everything else (including the four flying fortresses). Or I'm missing something. Am I not supposed to fight them? Is there some clever way to do this that I'm missing? Was what Talaana said when I arrived some kind of clue?

Edit. Never mind thanks. I figured out you're not supposed to fight the flying things, you have to keep moving, destroy the nest towers then run away. The only way I could do it was to just quaff potions constatly as I moved around.

Now I'm stuck on the final battle in Ygerna's memory. I literally don't have time to draw my sword before I die. I quit. I'm not going to spend god knows how long trying to beat it, and pulling what's left of my hair out. I have a life. I'm going to watch the ending on line and sell the game.

Dont have time to draw sword and die? I wondering how many hp you had and how poorly you being equipped.

Could you post your stats/skills distribution & equipment?

i know the problem! its the dream eater fighters, the other ones dont do it but the fighters shoot little energy balls right? dodge those at all costs because those are the things that dmg the hell out of you. i would get out the wyvern pet as a distraction and shoot the nests from a range while backing off and shooting down the fighters.
