Spent some time going through all the combinations of Buds you can put into the little green pool in Stone's Greenery. Mostly junk, though I think the weapons stats are scaled to ur level. Here's what I found, give a shout if you approve.
Oak Tears + Black Rose = Balanced Heavy Shortbow and Oak Tears
Oak Tears + Moonshine = No Bonus and Oak Tears
Oak Tears + Fanny Blossom = No Bonus and Oak Tears
Oak Tears + Holy Basil = 5 Stat Points and Oak Tears
Black Rose + Oak Tears = Balanced Heavy Shortbow and Black Rose
Black Rose + Moonshine = 1 Skill Point and Black Rose
Black Rose + Fanny Blossom = Sprouts a broom (can't pick up) and Black Rose
Black Rose + Holy Basil = Well Crafted Heavy Iron Axe and Black Rose
Moonshine + Oak Tears = No Bonus and Moonshine
Moonshine + Black Rose = 1 skill Point and Moonshine
Moonshine + Fanny Blossom = Balanced Light Steel Sword and Moonshine
Moonshine + Holy Basil = Normal Light Noble Hammer and Moonshine
Fanny Blossom + Oak Tears = No Bonus and Fanny Blossom
Fanny Blossom + Black Rose = Sprouts a broom (can't pick up) and Fanny Blossom
Fanny Blossom + Moonshine = Balanced Light Steel Sword and Fanny Blossom

You can see that the order you put the buds in doesn't matter for the bonus (if any) but the plant you get is the same as the 1st bud you put in.
