Is there any way to disable the cut scenes? Also, my creature runs around lifting his leg on everything and it was cute the first couple of times but now it's extremely annoying because half the time I can't get by him or he won't start fighting and just stands there p***ing on whatever. Is there any way to teach him some manners? I tried kicking him but it didn't help.

Yea, the auto-follow of the pet monster is awful, I have to fetch him all the time either stuck in a small river ravine, behind a tree stump, a rock, behind a wall corner or whatever and even there are sometimes I have to "un-spawn" it and re-spawn after the timer and MP comes back up.

Didn't Larian license some supposedly great pathfinding algorithm? I vaguely recall a press release or something to that effect around the time they announced licensing Gamebro, Speedtree, etc...

Basically you dont even need to fetch your creature. All you need to do is continue your way and you will suddenly notice it pop beside you. Usually the creature will always starts slow and be left behind while traveling on foot. But it knows a trick call teleport

The one that really ticked me off was the place where whats-her-name caused a cave in and you had to set the dynamite to blow it up. I got blown up 3 times because I couldn't get past that stupid incontinent creature! He's helpful when you need him but just like my little brother soon wears out his usefulness and becomes merely an annoyance (sorry kid!)

(I had a question about the creature and figured I'd post it here.)
What determines a creatures ranged attack? I'm guessing it's either the same as his melee or magic damage but which one? Also can he gain extra damage on his attacks, like your own melee attacks become more powerful the higher your strength is, or is his damage simply what it states minus the enemies defense.

If you had a goblin head on your creature, you should notice it has only fireball. So I bet its magic attack. But I usually switch to dragon elf head once I reach sentinel island, as its more powerful. There will be limbs on hands part which will increase melee or magic damage to around 140% or 160%, which I cant exactly remember which already. That will boost the attack of your pet melee or magic. I dont think your own damage figure will affect your creature, as creature has own separates damage and defense.
Oh, before I forget, did you guys has this small glitches with the creature health. When you use any parts that boost creature hp, for example increase hp by 100%. When I summon the creature in full health with hp boosting part, and immediately save or quick save. Then when I do a reload using the save I just made, I will notice my creature hp bar with be left with only 50% hp, if I am using 100% hp boost. It just like all the increment through hp boost will be gone once I do a reload. This problem still exist even after the latest patch. I didnt try it yet with a fresh start character, so still not too sure if its being fix or not.

The ranger class heads have fireball, but they can also use ranged attacks which look like a ball of energy or a magic missile. I just wonder if that's actually a magic attack or its version of a ranged attack since it doesn't have a bow. You'll also see it being used by skeleton rangers. Also why doesn't Way of the Ranger have any points in it, it's always at 0. Or does it gain points when you find better versions of the head.
Also has anyone ever mind read their creature? It sounds pretty cool, too bad it never says anything else. Also why isn't the creature ever mentioned in cut-scenes. I know it's optional to have him, but you think they could have made a few cut-scenes mentioning the creature. I mean it's always hopping around and pissing during them. One last thing, I hope they make a patch that makes the creature piss less. It's okay if it does it if your standing still for a few minutes, but mine pissed like 3 times in a row once, I mean as soon as its leg went down it came up again.

That why you will notice there is actually no hand parts which boost range attack, as the ranger type creature also do magical attack. In the game, only human and skeletons use bow only. The rest mobs, even named ranger, also use some sort of magical alike attack as their range attack.
When you mind read your creature, it just show its hunger for flesh and blood, no big deal on it. As for those peeing animation, I eventually didnt bother bout it anymore. If you enjoy the overall game play of the game, you wont be bothered much bout this tiny cases anymore.
