I made a warrior with a two hand sword and by the time i got a little past lord lovis tower i would die very easily. Im thinking what the hell am i doing wrong, maybe im putting stats in wrong way, mainly focusing on strength, 30 something, and vitality being like 10 or 15. I decided to quit that guy and try again...can anyone give me some tips

Well, that would depend on what level you are, and who you are trying to kill.

And which kind of difficulty you play ... I can say I put only points in Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence and nothing in Vitality or Spirit (or just 1 or 2 points, all teh rest come from my gear!). I'm now level 16 with 5 points in vitality: I put only 1 point in Vitality! The other 3 points comes from gear(2) and 1 from using the Pedestal in the Maxos Temple (library)!

you probly want more vit since health is really important for a pure melee dude andwhirlwind a good AOE attack you might wanna upgrade that one
idk your choice
Where i come from ascesion to a higher rank is a simple assasination those who are Ranked Highest watch their Front their deaths come from thier back and they die naturally because a dagger in the back naturallyu ends their life.
I am not a safe place

Whirlwind is your friend put lots of points in it and use it. Find a good bow and get your creature. Also pump up yer intelegence for magic resistance and boosting the magic damage you do with a weapon that does magic damage......

And...you don't need 5 point in lockpick at your level. I didn't need that fifth point until level 28. I redid my skills when I reached my battle tower, to hybrid. So many good/needed skills in all classes.

If you are playing a pure warrior, all you need is just good armors and weapons, as well as passive skills which help raise your warrior damage. Investment in lockpick is fine and you will eventually need it later. Just the matter of time only if you wanted to unlock all chests.
Warrior in early days might be bit tough, where you still wont able to rush into enemies hordes and kick their asses up and down. Try utilizing tools like bow to pull off mob and kill them separately. You stats seems fine and you should had more str over dex for now. Also dont ignore int. Dont over invested in vit, as you can find accessories which provide hp and mp easily. The stat points are more worth investing into other stats. Always remember to reserved some stat points, as it help on your gear planning in future, because each stat will max out at 100.
Your skill investment is still fine. When you get more skill points, max out your weapon mastery 1st. As you base damage increase, your skill damage increase too. Skill like whirlwind wont give you much extra damage even at rank 5. You will only see big damage output when skills reach high rank, such as around rank 10. So as your base damage increase, even rank 1 whirlwind will deal good damage. My rank 1 whirlwind doing 400+ damage during the final battle in high difficulty mode. And if you are on patch 1.03, all your normal attack will basically do aoe damage. So its not major concern now.
As for your situation now, try get your necromantic creature asap, as it will really help you out in a lot situation. Also try get to the enchanter smith soon. You will need to alter your enchantments later to give you more damage and defense.

And if you need to get good gears now, try reach the bandit camp asap too. If you already help the bandit to escape from his prison, he will now be a merchant in the bandit camps and will sell you magical and rare gears for good pricing. Read his mind to get even further discount.

This is my second character The first time I put too much points in vitality or spirit... and on easiest difficulty I had some problems, but now second time no problems! I have also nice gear without buying anything!! All gear I'm wearing comes from quests rewards or loot I find! So now I have many goldcoints ... something in a rating of 37 000 Gold!

Well I advice to complete as less side quests as possible in the early days. Killing mobs in the wild will provide enough exp for you to level up and take on the main quests. Only turn in all your non main quests before the fight with laiken and you would be suprise how many good deals you going to get from quest rewards, as well as locked chests. During this second play through, I manage to collect more than 100k of gold before facing laiken. Many locked chests content, especially weapons with high hp/mp can be sold for very good pricing, from 500+ to 1k+ gold each. And you basically wont need any of them if you keep the right quests for better reward, which is legendary items.
