Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks stuck in battle tower

Im stuck on the xbox 360 verssion. I have gone thorogh all 5 levels of the tower spoke to the gopblin eho had its vocal cords cut read all 5 books on the book case spoke to the man in the basement and unlocked the secret chamber by lighting candles but I am still stuck.
any one if they vcan help most grateful

You need to mindread the mute goblin, did you do that. That alone will trigger something that is needed to continue.

Heed the voice in your heads warning though to finish any unfinished business in broken valley and Sentinel island as they are pretty gone after you get the tower. Only quests you can do in those areas after is go to the mine in broken valley and fly up to that boat stuck in the tree on Sentinel island. Oh and land on Lovis's tower in broken valley.
You'll have no way to complete any other unfinished side quests in those areas and they'll fail.

Yes I read the goblins mind and re read the books and still nothing has happened. Do you need a special item to do the quest

If you had mind read the goblin, there will be a new book selection appears in the book rack list of books. You need to scroll down to get the newest book to read it.
