Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems Frozen after Patriarch

After i speak to Patriarch and start to walk away, my character freezes and i get an image of a disc on the top right of the screen with a rotating type ring.
Any help?

A couple people have run into this problem, but unfortunately I don't know if there is a solution.

I went to a previous save ( before entering the cave )and de-summoned my creature. I then re-summoned him after going down the elevator. Then i gave the seeds to the golden statues in order from 1-3 (last time i went 1,3,2).Inserted the lever to get rid of the flame wall and made my way straight to patriarch, not touching anything besides the enemies of course.
Then after talking to patriarch, i walked off with my creature without freezing.

Yep, I can confirm that loading an earlier save outside the waterfall dungeon and going to talk to the patriarch as soon as possible fixed the problem for me, Though I hope everyone that has experienced this bad bug has a save outside the dungeon. Thanks Benny101.

Larian forum admins, I really think this should be stickied near the top of the page so that everyone who runs into this bug can see how to work around the problem. I cant speak for other people that ran into this bug, but it seriously pissed me off, and this thread is probably going to be lost deep in this forum in a months time.

Hmm.. can you press F9 to save? Does it work? Tell me, perhaps, the workaround them same as with sleeping trio: quicksave while stuck, quit, restart, quickload.
