Hey,

I read somewhere that there's a bug with Kenneth as trainer choice. I'm primarily using magic so logically I'd have to choose Kenneth for trainer as he should be able to train me in the magic missle skill? Although I did read, as said, that he trains the same skills as Hermosa. If so I should probably choose her? Or am I misinformed?

Thanks

I had them fight it out and you'll see who really wears the pants in the arena. hahaha

Hermosa is a better choice anyways as "Upgrading your Skill Training Area to
the max level with Kenneth requires you to give up a book that gives you five
skill points - the single biggest skill boost in the game. Hermosa only asks
you to give up a sword - a good sword, for sure, but it's hardly five skill
points."
Above quote was taken from a walkthrough by Seorin.

Upgrading your areas 2 times is not really worth it anyways as the game does not last long enough for you to really use the upgrades to their full potential unless you reskill and put most of your points into one or 2 skills.
Wish you'd get new skills on upgrading your areas, not just allow you to take your existing skills higher as that really is not needed and worthless IMO. I did not go any higher with any of my skills then 5 and finished the game easily.

Well If you are mage who don"t use any melee weapons you will need to max some skills

I reskilled 4 times to try out different skills and level 5 magic missiles would take out everyone in one or two goes that I tried it on up to level 27 ring guys.

They do give you side quests to upgrade though so that might be good if you want the EXP.
Main point of my post was that Hermosa is the better choice as you don't have to give up 5 skill points. As I said I just let them fight it out and the better "man" will win. wink
Who wins though may come into play as to which route you are taking in the game. More towards evil or good, can't for sure say though. Hermosa won the fight easily in my case.
