Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis weapon choices

I'm warrior class fighting 2 handed for right now. my question is, is there anything wrong with say using a hammer and axe or axe and sword or mace and, you get the picture. or should you stick with the same weapon for each hand?

I have not played yet but the only issue I can see would arise if there are weapon specializations and off hand penalties for other than small weapons...

There are not any listed penalties for mixing one handed weapon types. It does look better with matched sets, but I didn't notice any issues swapping weapons around early in the game. For awhile now I've been using two axes, but that has been because axes have had the best damage and bonuses.
