SpellShield (spell books can be bought from Kistandalius or Blake in Ars Magicana and Corinna or Mpenzak in Verdistis), restoration potions, or come back at a higher level (high teens/early twenties) with better armour.

Maybe you can use the evade trap skill if you have points to spare.

I soaked up the traps, one by one, and teleported out to rest. Rinse and repeat until there's no more trap.

actually, I quickly walk back to were I came from when the traps explode. You will get the first explosion, yes, but not the rest of them.

For future refrence - the best way i did these, cast a spell for summon skeleton or rats, let them walk through them! They die, but at least you don't take any hits.

I released a scorpion, it doesn't die (and helps with the monsters) to walk through and blow the traps for me!

Lockpick skill also works.

Just move close to the trap after you've spotted it...

And pretend it's a chest that needs to be lock-picked.

That's pretty neat. It's like a disable or disarm traps skill, and you don't lose lockpicks. Or do you?
