Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks invincible enemies

I recently ran into a Lv. 18 goblin ranger near the shrine by the entrance to the O.F. I was Lv. 19 and killed many of his companions but I could not damage him at all. I am aware that the game will auto-heal enemies that are standing at the edge of their "territory", but if you approach them and engage in melee combat you can damage them. I was hitting the Goblin with a Magic Blast that one shotted his companion rangers and it didn't lower his health a bit. I left the Fords and returned and the goblin was still invincible. I ended up loading my last quick save which fixed the issue. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else out there?

I had that issue with a lot of the imps further into the fjords. What was funny about them is that they would lean on their swords and just grin. I ignored them, retreated, waited a couple minutes then went back, they were back with their group and vulnerable again. In some very rare instances, they would just despawn. I'm thinking a glitch of some sort, but, it made for some amusement in between having my skull bashed in.

there is a definite glitch in the game with that! i have come across that many times, for instance, if I'm fighting one of them and then see that I'm dying, i'll run away, then if i backtrack, they seem to be stuck there, so I fire away at them, but it does nothing to the health at all..it could be me, my creature and another guy beating up on them and nothing! so now I just let the bad guy go back to whereever they came from and it lets them 'reset' sort of.. otherwise, you can sit there all day and pound the heck on them and nothing works
