Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Quests not updating...

I'm playing DD for the third time now, and never had this happen to me before. I'm using the GoG version for the first time, btw. I have downloaded the patched version yesterday.

I went to General Alix, told her about the problems, and the healers arrived in the Blue Boar. However, the Quest entry in my diary stays blue, just as if I haven't finished that quest.

Same thing for Nericon's Garden. I got the key from Blake, but only afterwards did I get the quest to get it. Now it stays blue, and doesn't update to green/aqua/completed status.

Any idea what's wrong?

Did you get the experience for completing the escort quest?

A couple people with the disk version reported parts of the Trevor/Marcus/Tingalf quest didn't get cleared properly in the log (shorter, less elaborate quests had problems less frequently), though they got the quest rewards.

Did you talk to the statues in Nericon's garden as well as kill all the frogs to open the portal?
I don't recall if getting the key first causes a problem, or not.

I don't recall wether I got the XP or not. I believe I did, though.

The Nericon quest updated itself in the very end. Still strange it didn't update properly during the quest.

BTW, I'm playing the GoG version, so no discs for me.
