I had fun with this game but it`s ridiculously too hard,i`m dying in places at the lowest setting...great idea also to put you in a fight against 30 ballista towers and other dragons, shooting at you from all sides, just as you get to transform into a dragon for the first time,a little practice in easier circumstances would of helped a lot, can`t beat that part because it`s stupid hard...i`m done with this, like a lot of people probably quit there also.

I hope Risen isn`t this hard so I can actually play the game till the end.

Reload a save before entering the summoning chamber and head to the fjords to level. When you return to get the tower it will be easier. At level 20 it is pretty easy if you keep moving, heal a couple times and pay attention to your surroundings. At level 23 you don't really need to keep moving (though sitting in place too long would be bad) or pay too much attention to your surroundings, and you probably wouldn't need to heal.

I practiced flying around in the first transformation sequence, where there are only a couple opponents, which helped me get my bearings faster upon getting the battle tower.

From a previous post:
Keep moving; hit target lock and circle around while holding the Fire Breath trigger/key down. Once you take out most of the opponents you will automatically return to the battle tower.

You should have one skill point that you can put into Dragon Spirit, and can fly away behind the battle tower to use it to heal or otherwise rest up. You can get a second dragon skill point if you explore the fjords before getting the tower, but then you would be a high enough level (about 22 or 23) that you wouldn't be having much trouble here.

You should have collected some dragon armour as well, though I don't recall any particularly useful skill bonuses on them (at least not for my play style).

Lvl 30 balista's? You have plenty of targets in your vicinity after you get transformed into dragon for first time, just scout for them a little. Don't go into 27-30 area, head in another direction.

P.S. Risen is much harder, just fyi... not as hard as Gothic III, but close.
