I played the game for a week before I found out there was a patch. So i got to the website and download the 1.34 patch and apply it.
Now randomly when saving the game choses to just not save all the files. My good saves have 22 files in them. The corrupt saves have 2 or 3 files.
This happened with a game loaded from before patching AND with a brand new game.
This never happened before the 1.34 patch.
One odd thing I noticed when applying the patch is that it doesn't ask me for the file path to the game install even though the text on the patch install says to hit back to change it.
Do you need to d/l the patch to the Divine Divinity folder and run it from there or does it find the install? I've tried both ways now but with the randomness of these faults it's hard to tell if it worked this time without wasting an hour of my time Q-saving and Q-loading.
My System: P4 2.0gig 1 gig RAM Asylum GeForce FX5600 256meg video w/ latest Detenator drivers. Win2k
Nevermind that comment about installing the patch from the Divine Divinity directory because just after posting this I was doing quicksave quickload testing and it faulted out again.

Could both of you send an email to support@larian.com with an exact description of your problem and your system specs? And the patches you have applied. We try to help you out as soon as possible. (You may refer to this thread here in the forum as well)
