Is there any reason to buy a house in Verdistis? I already have a great stash location all set up with several chests, a bed, and it's right next to a shopkeeper. Is there any other reason to spend the $30k?

You get some experience, but I never bothered.

Yeap, just xp. I've already taken over about 4 houses were Iv'e found noone(or killed the people) and I have about 2 other houses, and four other loot places; so I have a total of 10 different hideouts that I own ; and 20 peoples houses I can hide at; so I don't by it; My complete nasion, 10 houses and hideouts.

Thanks for the info. If you get experience points, I’ll probably buy it. I haven’t found anything to spend money on, and I have around 300k.

Are there any money sinks later in the game? The only thing I can see spending money on would be gold charms.

yep; all u can get is the house; gold charms; and lots of cheap 5k items!

Two more questions, if you don’t mind.

What are the cheap 5k items you mentioned?
And at what point in the game can I purchase gold charms? I haven’t been to the Dark Forest yet, but I’ve pretty much cleared out everything else.

Many spell books are around 5k. Gold charms can be purchased for 50k after you get to the wastelands (near the end of the game).

also, bastar'd swords and some long swords and other enchanted items are 5k items.
