I read in different topics that I should hold on to quests as long as I can. But for how long? Surely I should not hold them till I am 30?

I am in Broken Valley- in the village. I have done mindreading of those that give anything useful- passwords, locations, discounts, side-quests. I have not even touched the main quest yet. Almost all the side quests are done, but except 'Band of Brutes', I have not submitted any.

So, the question is, when should I submit them? And when should I do the main quests, or move on to the next area? I am level 3 right now, with about 2k XP to get to level 4. So, I am killing the spare goblins and boars outside. Haven't explored underground, or any secret dungeons yet.

Is there a rule of thumb I should follow on when to submit quests, explore etc? Or should I just follow my instincts? I don't plan on reaching 37-38, by the way. Anywhere between 33-35 will be ok.

Thanks in advance.

Try to get all those goblins killed and when you reach lvl 4 you can wander the underground areas very easily.....Once all the ground mobs are dead in an area is when i turn in quests. Works well for me. Before you turn in Goblin Hearts (read his mind) so he dont rip you off wink

Oh I did. devil He seemed like a scheming skunk from the moment I saw him. I love the way the game handles different characters so deeply. So many side-quests- just my type.

So, I'm following this rule from now on, when getting in a new area:

1. Take quests, read minds. Don't finish the quests.
2. Kill everything monster / beast until they are very high level, and so very tough.
3. Submit side-quests.
4. Move to main quests.

That sounds about right?
