Are there dagger weapons? Just a fan with using daggers. If not, guess I'll be sticking with swords.

I am not a number cruncher but it SEEMS that a good 2 Hander chops enemies down alot faster. Shields (in my opinion) are a total waste and a farce in this game. Unless you might use one on a baby mage.... aargh

It's been my experience so far (to level 18, just got tower) that two handed damage doesn't offset the damage to my character quickly enough, where as the sword and board style has faired better for me. I'm not a number cruncher either, I just go by how fast I consume potions, which is a lot faster without the shield. Probably just haven't found that ONE bad-ass two hander yet. smile

Yeah, i think shilds should have higher armor ratings! I play with two one-handed-weps... But if i'm running towards a group of archers or such i change to a shield.

And i'm a little disaponted that there's no blacksmith in the battle tower, thougnt first that the enchater was a blacksmith... Is enchatning that usefull anyway?

Enchanting is very useful. In my last playthrough I got +15 magic damage enchants by level 10. Got them on both my dual wielding weapons. Golden....

It's pretty random.

Tip: When you disenchant an item, you automatically learn the recipe. So disenchant the enchanted items before selling. This does not reduce selling value.

The price does drop in the latest version if you remove an enchantment, but gold is easy to come by anyway. I've bought equipment from merchants a couple times just for an upgrade to an enchantment, and sold back whatever it was.

Oh. You may be right. I haven't checked after patching 1.03. Thanks.
