Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis Dragon scale in Maxo Tmpl

Have everything I need to finish Maxo tmpl quest except the dragon scale. I know its suppossed to be on the path to the blood altar but don't see it! Can someone tell me excactley where it is and what it looks like? Color, size, etc? I 've been over the path several times, before getting killed out, and can't find it-is it possible its somewhere else?

It has been awhile since I played through that part; I thought it was on the ground just after the spine section turns to solid ground, though the walkthrough says just in front of the blood alter. It is darker than the ground. I don't really recall the size (a little larger than a barrel top?), but from a distance I caught a glimpse as I was moving around and thought it was a body at first.

I had problem finding it at first too. But To me it looked just like a "dark ground spot" but it glittered of green in the air abov it. I thought that was a poisonous area on the ground on first sight... I whent right past it the first time. Jumping on the side to avoid it to reach the blood altar. :P

Thx for the replys! Just happened to find it when I had stopped to drink a potion. He went down easy after I used it.
