I visited Lovis, going for his soul, got attacked by Dragon slayers but cant get into the rotten temple! Help!!!

Have you explored around that area, talked to ZizZax the Almost Wise, etc?

Is your problem with the outer door, or the inner one? The outer door to the temple should just be open, and you talk to Zandalor once inside. For the next door, read the book on the stand for a clue, or simply explore everywhere in the room.

I'm in - I had sneaked past the other slayers originally which seems to be why the door wouldn't open. I was so annoyed that I went and killed 'em, which then opened the temple door.

I didn't realize you could get past them without triggering the cutscene.
