Can anyone tell me how to get into the hall of echos. I talked to the dragon, got the cut scene with Damion, killed the guys and went to the entrance of hall of echos in the fjords. its just a sheet of glass, ice whatever...cant get into. where do i go to finish this game. ive done everything, aleroth, stone, kali, etc all dead...someone give me little help please.

Standing near the sheet of ice (I assume), you need to read the 'note from Maxos' from your inventory (if you didn't pick it up yet, it is on a table near the bed in the battle tower master's chamber). Do everything else your wish, final enchantments, charms, etc before entering the hall of echoes.

Yeah ... and be sure you have a extra savegame BEFORE you enter the Hal of Echoes !

TIP/HINT:
when I play Divinity II and I'm stuck - I mean, I have no idea what to do next - I ALWAYS go looking to my Logbook : (un)finished questpages or dialogs with NPC's ... or look by Quest-items in my Inventory is also very good idea!!

I too standing at the entree of the HaLl of Echoes and was thinking:
"And what now!?" .. But when I go looking in my Logbook and quest-items ... I was finding the plot ...

I sometimes forgot to look in my Logbook when I'm searching "what or where or who or ..." and I experienced I spend much more time to search without looking in my Logbook

how did you do lock and key. i cant find the mine it tells me the key is=(

The mine entrance should be marked on your map (Broken Valley map). It is a little ways south east of the quarry tower (you need to go there first to get the key for the mine, if you have not done so yet). The quarry tower is SSE of Lovis' tower.

It was mostly destroyed. There are several places that are above the poison gas (the entrance from the fjords, the top of Lovis' tower, the quarry tower and upper walls, mine entrance, Needleman's storage) and a couple flying fortresses have moved in (the platforms are mostly above the gas).

i think i have found it. is it the one with lots of deamons and black ring. if it is it is very hard as i am a lvl 27 mage that dosent use magic.

You can continue exploring in the fjords or do some of the other flying fortresses first (Stone's is easiest, then Raze).


If you don't use magic you are not a mage (your initial choice in Farglow is pretty much irrelevant after you've gone up a few levels). You can unlearn all your skills at your trainer in the battle tower if you just are not using magic any more. There are lots of people who favour high intelligence warriors and magical damaged based weapons, so even your stats (which can not be changed) can not restrict you to being a mage.

Svadilfari can be found in the fjords, in a cave to the east and south of the harbour.
