Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks inside hall of echoes

Am inside the great hall of echoes but can't seem to get past all those dais isles. Can only get 1 or 2 before being killed out, and can't seem to find a "safe" place. Anyone got any strategies to get past 'em?

What level are you?

Fly around first and take out a few of the opponents before heading to the nests. If you keep moving you can just use Fire Sphere and stay fairly safe. Rotate around any flying opponents or nests you use Fire Breath on, so you are not a sitting target.

Fly high back towards the start (where there tend to be fewer opponents) to heal, then turn and make another run through. Whenever you take out a nest and survive, save the game (keep the last couple saves, at least); after that there will be fewer opponents, and you can make progress faster.


EDIT: Healing is faster as a human, but that is irrelevant, since you can not transform here, contrary to my previous suggestion.

Am level 35;thx for the tips. Although I have tried to change back to human to heal, the game tells me that shapeshifting is not allowed here. But I will try your suggesstions and see what happens.

hmm i just didn't stopped moving and spammed healing whenever i can as well summoned wyvern (it attracts other flying enemies while i destroy nests and pull off away to heal again). and don't forget Healing potions works in your dragon form as well!

You are correct. I remember trying to transformed back to human to see if there was anything on the platforms and near the start to kill/loot, but apparently forgot some of the details.
