Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks On the treasure maps

One of them says that the door won't be open until you put the shimmering stones in the bowl. A couple of questions on this quest...

1) Is the bowl the one where all the treasure is in the imps castle in the dark forest?

2) Which shimmering stones is it talking about? I've put several stones in there and nothing happens.

3) Am I totally way off base with this quest and is it somewhere else?

The reasure cave and Imp castle are two different location. the entrance to the treasure cave is very well hidden. The X on the map is the entrance, the rest of the way to the treasure is underground

Where are you told that you need exactly 2002 gold?
How do you set yourself up for that amount? I have never gotten an option to split piles of gold. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />

to split items that stack:

1. open up two inventory windows (one with your stacked item - gold, potions, etc.)

2. left click on and drag the stack into the other window; BUT, before you release the mouse button, press and hold the ctl key.

3. Release the mouse button and another window will pop up that allows you to select how much you want to drop out of the stack.
