I have 'Sorcerer Arben's Sword of Doom'.. devil .. in my inventory and am wondering if anyone else has had any problem with it. This two-handed sword has to be either cursed or bugged and I am to far in the game to use a backup save if I have one for that quest.

The only thing I can do with it is to equip it. I can't sell it, destroy it or move it to my chest in my Battle Tower no matter what I try. I have a much better two-handed sword that I am using for crowd control with Whirlwind and Jump Attack.

Thanks for your feedback in advance and if neccessary I will bury the sword at the bottom of my weapons page in my inventory.

The sword is a quest item, so you will eventually be able to get rid of it (after getting a certain quest in the dragon cliff castle, head to the slayer camp just past the harbour).
Barnabus' mace is like this, as well (though not as much of a problem for me, since I used it for quite awhile).

The Arben Sword a Quest-item???? smirk

But how?
For which quest? I used it frequently in my earlier playthrough ... ! I also see it has a "0 Gold" value, but I was confused too, because it don't stay by my Quest-items in my Inventory.
But now I remember the first time I played Divinity I didn't do the bandit quessts and Tagos' Axe stay in my Inventory, also with a "0 gold" value wink
The funny thing is I now discover I can battle Tagos & when he give up (before he die!), I can keep this Axe AND I solved also this quest for Tagos! that are two birds with one stone biggrin

But I can't now remember if I get rid of this Arben Sword or not :hihi: ...
I go for a look in the inventory of my earlier hero (jusst before he must do the final battle).
But I can't remeber which quest it was ... think

I'm realy suprised (in a positive way) about the secrets in Divinity ... delight ... I play now my third character and I discover still some secrets smile ...

Without going into specifics, I can tell you there is an option to use it during the 'Down the Hatch' quest.

I am in blood
Stepp'd in so far, that, should I wade no more,
Returning were as tedious as go o'er.
