Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General NPC killed

Helo everyone.
I have a problem. Want to finish the quest about cattle theft, but one orc drummer ran in the poor querter and killed quest related NPC, with whom I must speak about theft!
And when I walk in the cellar, my hero don't speak about the meat on the table, so I can't even tell the questgiver, who is stealing his cattle...
Is there any ways to fix this? The quest is good, many reputation, yes.
P.S. Tried to load later savegames - the same story.

Did you pick up the meat on the table? I didn't see Dorian near his house until after I had looted the cellar and went back outside, so it is possible he may not be dead (if he is, there is still a way to get him back).

Reviving dead NPCs (don't know if this has been tried with the download version, but I'd expect it to work)
