Hi all, im new on forum and in game too.

I'm about too leave the first area of Broken Valley and I want to know some things about the game...

1st: Do I need Ores and Gems for something or I can sell them to make extra money?

2nd: Where I should invest my skills and stats points?

Adicional Details, Im almost Lv7 and right now i'm using dual swords(so I think I want to make dual weapon warrior) and I already put 5 skill points (4 in lockpick to open chest and 1 in dual expertise skill).

Thanks for info, and good game smile

Hi and welcome to the forum wink ,

1st:
Ores and Gems you need for "enchanting" of weapons, armor and jewellery.
But if you haven't enough money, you can sell a little bit, but I only sell some of the Iron. Iron is only needed for the two lowest enchantment-levels. There are 10 levels and for each kind of enchantment you must find a "Formula"... and you must find a guy named "Dreaven" who can enchant or disenchant items.
And if you wish: finding an item with an enchantment you wish to have for your favorite weapon (if it has 1 or more enchantment-slot(s)!), you can disenchant that item to collect immediately the formula of that enchantment and you can use that enchantment right away by Dreaven IF you have the required Ores and/or Gems with you.

2st:
I don't know what difficulty you play (low, medium, high?), but invest fast in Lock Pick .... I don't do that now I play on "high" .... wink

Stats:
if you play like a warrior, good to invest in Strength & Intelligence too. Strength (and Dexerity for bows) is required for most of the weapons, especially melee weapons.

Also can Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence increases your Resistances and your Reflexes, etc ...

I haven't play like a pure warrior get ... so I can't say more than this for help with your character.

Success ! smile

Thanks for the info... im playing in normal difficulty now but until now the game its just too easy lets see if I get some challenge or I go Hard too :p

Im playing with dual swords but it doesn't mean I want too make a pure warrior laugh I just dont know where too invest the skill points because I dont know what its the best skills to "combine" with melee damage. (thinking about rush attack/magic missile, but still need more info from experient players)

Okay wink
I play now the third time this game... but I didn't know if I'm now "an experient player"biggrin ...I didn't know what you except from a experient player wink

For me, IMO, combine some Skills is a pure personal chooice!

But from what I experienced and from what I readed on this forum (try to use some time on this forum the Search-button, handy, there is a lot written about such things like this !! wink ) :
Mage Skills I used are: Magic Blast, Fireball and later on Firewall for sure, great powerful skill! Combine this with Confusion and Destruction and your spells are even more powerful!

I find the Rangerskill "Ranger Stealth fantastic for all kind of character. Find some bow and focus on an enemy from a longer distance with Ranger Stealth and more: on that moment you can choose to use the bow OR use a spell like Magic Blast or Magic Missile or another spell you can use from afar.

I sometimes also use dual whielding, but most of all I play with a Bow or a Two-handed Sword in combination with spells. You can say that I'm a "Archer Mage" or a "Battle Mage" or something between both types ... That are simpy my favorite types I play with. smile

And if I find some gear with a skillpoint on, I try it out and I didn't sell that kind of gear! But it's a personal thing.

Level 1 of Rush Attack and Whirlwind are almost essential for a melee warrior, but neither would be my first choice for boosting after that. Level 1 of Mana Leech is handy. I also left Life Leech at level 1, but wouldn't have ben adverse to boosting that if I had started running into serious problems.

Mana Efficiency helps after you get your creature (level 5 cuts mana usage in half), especially if you want to start using level 1 of the healing spell rather than postions. Bleed is probably the best damage bonus (I brought it up to level 10).

Character Optimization

The skill section in the walkthrough has a description and comments for each of the skills/spells.

Once you get the battle tower, half way through the game, you will have easy access to gems / ore / plants / herbs. If they are not needed for a potion or enchantment you would use, then you can sell them.
You can unlearn all your skills in the battle tower, and re-distribute you skill points, so you don't have to worry too much about making mistakes.
