Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Entering Hall of Echoes

I have all three needed items, and the Dragon has revealed the location. I can't get anything to work. Any help is highly appreciated!!!

Once you are at the location (in the cave-like entrance, near where there are a few dragon skeletons, far below the tree that asked the riddle for the seeds quest) you need to read the Note from Maxos (if you don't have it in your inventory, you can get it from a table in the master's chamber by the bed in the battle tower).

OK, I got into the hall of echoes, and die almost instantly!!! I'm at level 31, is there even a chance of surviving at this level? I don't think there are many more things to do!! Unfortunately I gained access to the battle tower before I completed many of the quests in Broken Valley (now everyone there is dead along with those quests). Any advice is very appreciated!!!!

It is possible to finish the game on level 31 (or even 30), though the last fight in the hall of echoes is going to be more of a challenge than the beginning.

If you are relatively close to going up a level you could try running around the fjords and see if you missed anything (check your quest log). You could max Wisdom first, and then re-skill before returning to the hall of echoes (you'd have to be pretty close to level 32 for the Wisdom bonus to make a difference, though).

Have you lowered the difficulty setting in the game options, if you are not already playing on easy?

Fly around first and take out a few of the opponents before heading to the nests. If you keep moving you can just use Fire Sphere and stay fairly safe. Rotate around any flying opponents or nests you use Fire Breath on, so you are not a sitting target.

Fly high back towards the start (where there tend to be fewer opponents) to heal, then turn and make another run through. Whenever you take out a nest and survive, save the game (keep the last couple saves, at least); after that there will be fewer opponents, and you can make progress faster.

OK I tried following that advice but at level 33 now I still can't last 30 seconds. I got this far so I've learned alot about the fighting mechanism in this game. I also don't know where I can level up anymore (I ruined Broken Valley by leaving behind a boatload of quests). Have I forced myself to re-start and be sure not to miss anything this time?

Maybe set your difficulty on "low"? Or is this already done and still impossible in the Hall of Echoes?
Strange, because on "low" with my level 34 only the final battle was a little challenge, but in dragonform the enemies didn't harm me at all! and in the Arena it was also not so difficult at all.

What are your stats and what gear are you wearing and which skills are you using?
