Hi everyone (I see good old Raze is still here, that is a relief!)

I have aquestion about the guy who appears near the bridge as soon as you finish with Zandalor.
He made me an offer to buy a house and he took 500 of my gold. Something tells me that he is a thief. I know I sould have used mindreading but I didn't. Can anyone tell me what's the story with him? Do I get a house?

P.S. Ego Dragonis has not been for sale here in Greece. Why so?

It is a scam; you will meet him at 3 different places, but don't get the option of turning violent (or threatening him to get your money back AFAIK). You can mindread him to learn where his secret stash is (IIRC a gold bag with a random amount of gold), but I don't recall if that can make up for what you pay him. In any case, once you have the battle tower, it is pretty easy to get gold, so 500 isn't likely going to make a significant difference.


Larian may not have gotten a publisher for Greece (various release dates and regions are listed here).

Thank you so much for your quick reply. It is good to see you are still here. And as always you provide a great deal of help.

I will re-load a save I have so I can just skip the 500 expenses...
It is pity that Ego Draconis is not published in Greece yet, I know many Greek pc rpg gamers that would love it. Let's hope that Larian would find a publisher soon.
