Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks yet another dumb question... battle tower interior

so when you get into the battle tower and release Elijah and read his mind, he tells you that when facing his cell, the one on to my left (his right) has a secret passage that you need to open to get the explosives to blow your way out.

i swear i've scoured every inch of that room and can't find the button. i know there was one on the outside of the cell, but that only opened the cell door. i'm frustrated that i'm so stupid in figuring these things out. any help would be (again) appreciated...

ok so i read elijah's comments again and he says it's the room across from him on the left, but still i went thru that room too and can't find a switch or button to open the back door...

The button is on a vertical wooden beam to the left of the false wall. Check the map and you should be able to determine which wall section it is that needs to be removed (in the cell left of the one with the broken door). After that there is another false wall, with a button on the right, IIRC.

wow. found it thanks. any idea exactly where the explosives are? i'm searching my brains out...

There are 2 small kegs of explosives, on a table IIRC. Going towards the back of the room, you will pass them before you get to the chest(s).
