Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems Saved games location

Hi everyone

I need to re-install windows 7 on my computer, which means i will lose all my game saves, unless i can find where they have been saved to so i can move them to my USB. I have looked in the "saved games" folders and have even run a search for everything to do with Divinity, but still no saved games found anywhere on my computer! Please can someone help me work this one out, im not a pro with computers as one might have already guessed, lol, so any feed back would be much appreciated.

In Vista / Win 7 the saves are in the folder

C:\Users\ %username% \AppData\Local\Divinity 2\Savegames


and in case someone finds this topic in a search, in XP the location is

C:\Documents and Settings\ %username% \Local Settings\Application Data\Divinity 2\Savegames


You may need to set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders. That is probably why the search failed, as well, since you ned to specifically set Windows Search to check in hidden folders in the advanced options.
