Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Some help with a few things

Hi folks.. i think im almost finished

tho there are still some things i just cant work out at all.

1. there's a room with fireballs after the 3 statues in the cave behind the water fall.. i see a button it says is broken and needs a lever... ive looked all around cant find leaver.. there is a force field blocking my way i cant get past.

2. there's a cave with lava and in the middle a wizard of some sort.. hes surrounded by a force field. when i land in there i cant kill him ever with level 33 .. in fact he takes no damage at all.
I also see in the cave 2 portals.. i go in each one, and in one i disable the force field around the dragon creating thing (i dunno wtf to call theses things).. the thing that makes dragons.... anyway, I cant find anywhere to take the force field around the wizard guy.

3. where exactly is this "hall of echoes" that i keep hearing just about everyone go on about.. ive no idea where it is, its not on any maps. i need help finding it please.

4. the high castle thing down one of the fjords has a glowing hatch with a guy there.. i cant open the hatch, dunno what to do.

5. there's a cave with a glowing ball thing (goblin boss).. he wants be to find someone who speaks his language or something, cant find anyone.

6. in the docks.. inside.. there is a large gate to somewhere.. but the guard keeps saying its for champions only.. haven't a clue what to do here.

7. where is Aleroth? i see it on a world map, but no idea how to get there.


8. my lockpick skill is max (5) and my battle tower trainer dose not seem to have an upgrate to 10 for it, yet i find many many chests that i cant open. any ideas what i need to do to open these many chests?

also, ive completed all the flying fortresses.. the 3 portal ones, .. and the one and the very end of the fjords... and also ive done broken valley.. apart from what i mentioned above what else is ther to do? .. will i know ive reached the end of the game by an end game sequence?

just an update, i found the leaver.. got past all that.. found the gate to hall of echos.. melted the ice.. but it seems i am missing a shield.. must have missed it along the way,, any ideas where this shield is (is it possible i sold it/ or is it an un-sellable quest item? )

For Barnabus' cave, there are 3 teleporters you need to explore. The top one on a high ledge leads to a cave with 3 sections, the mid level teleporter and ground level one each have a generator that needs to be disabled.

In the dragon cliff castle, you need to talk to Jedediah (the guy at the hatch) and retrieve the items he needs.
You can not enter the champions' clubhouse.

Chests that can not be lockpicked require a key or a password. There are a couple chests with no keys (one half buried in Maxos temple's maze, one in Keara's flying fortress...), but you should be able to get most of them.

what is the best weapon in the game?
i have like 20k and don't know what to buy with it, any suggestions?

The weapons and other equipment carried by merchants is all random, so you just need to check back each time you level. If you don't mind possible spoilers, you could check out the weapons listed in the topic Finished Divinity II ? Tell us with which stats.

You will need gold to upgrade your runners once you get the battle tower, as well as to increase skill level caps at the trainer (though you'll still probably have plenty).
