Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Aleroth, Zandelor, Rifts (spoiler)

I've been trying to protect Zandelor while he closes the rifts, in the last main room. I have 2 dozen loot bags floating around slowing my computer down, I've spent 1 1/2 hours trying to accomplish this and leveled 5 times. What's the answer to finishing this? I stand right on top of Zandelor to ward off the enemies, and have my demon called whenever I get a second to summon him. I'm playing a warrior, duo blades.

p.s. I finally finished, two hours it took.

I did this last, before heading to the hall of echoes, so was at a relatively high level (36) and didn't have too much trouble (it did take a couple restarts for me to get my technique refined a bit). I had my creature summoned, and stood a little in front of Zandalor, firing arrows at the creatures from the 2 front rifts (more to get their attention than do damage) and switched to melee when they got close, occasionally having to Rush Attack a memory eater from the rear rift.
