Ok this is driving me nuts. I found 2 potions and I cured 2 of the 3 plague victims. However, doesn't it make sense that when I found out Dr. Elrath was poisoning them and had him arrested, that the other would be automatically cured by not receiving any more poison? I still have the quest to find Tibus a potion, but since there was only 2, am I going to fail this quest? Help! Thanks.

Game play intention by Larians: you have to decide who is to live and who is to die

Gamer solutions:
Pickpocket (lvl 2) one of the cured, so you have a spare flask for the 3rd one. This solves the quest.
Kill Tibus.

you only need to cure that guy in quarantined part of poor area,and you've done the quest..

Cure the 2 poor ones, let the rich guy die.

i cured all three with the pickpocket idea, feel a little like Robin Hood.

It didn't help. I gave the cure to Tibus and Cedric, then killed Tibus and gave the cure to Sarah. The main quest "Find a solution to plague problem in Rivertown" still isn't solved.

Someone once wrote something about reporting to commander Ralph about Dr. Elrath and his basement. Ralph doesn't have such speech option.

How will I find out the cause of the plague? Is it sth about the "strangely smelling" empty flasks found at the well?

Those flasks were just a clue, not an essential part of the quest.
Did you talk to Lt Robin before going to Commander Ralph? You had the confrontation with Elrath when leaving his house with the letter, and defeated the assassins he sent after you?

ive noticed something when u kill da assasigns, they drop a letter but u cant tell Ralph about it is it a bug or can u just not tell him?

No, I killed a creature in his cellar, took the cure potions and left. He wasn't there. Neither did I find any letter. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

You have to take the letter with you, then you've got the option. It has to be in your inventory when you speak to Ralph.

You just can not tell Ralph about the assassins. The letter is there to explain why they attacked you (ie it is not just a random encounter with thugs), but I guess compared to the plague, it is not worth mentioning (especially since they are such wimps).
