Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks lost explosives

i got the quest to ravage the orc supply train when i wasn't strong enough to go there, and later on in the game, i forgot what the explosives are for and sold them or dropped them in an unknown location.
is this an essential quest? and is there a way to get new explosives? captain mitox won't give me any more..

It is not essential (it is one of three quests which will get you an invitation to the castle), but there is a fix;

I ran into the middle of their camp, waited for about 20 orcs to be in there, dropped the explosives, ran away, and watched; BOOOM! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

i don't want to miss it, so i started a new game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.
my character had crappy skills, anyway. now he'll have good ones.
