Hi! I just started another round of dd.
When i was going to bring the imp to the halls of seven, i started to talk to the other imp at the inn.
And i wanted to save before going to the magical world, I pushed on the reply about "it's a another evil imp trick", so i could save, and now i can't talk to the imp again. Or all i can say is "wrong room" ...
How can i fix this? must i go back to a previus saved game?

Another thing i think is wrong is that i can't talk to many ppl in verdist: just "i better be going".
It seems broken.

I haven't dowloaded the patch, could that be a problem fixer?

I think you need to load a previous saved game. This is why you should save BEFORE talking to a new character.

And why haven't you patched already? The first thing I do after installing any game is check for and install any relevant patches - even before playing the game.

Yeah i know, i usualy save before, but this time i didn't...
I was out in the woods with no internet for 10 days, so i brought my computer and dd... and installed it there, i just came home from there...

The patch will prevent this problem, but not fix it once it happens (most CD re-release versions of the game, and all DVD versions, should already be updated to the latest 1.0034A version, as shown in the bottom right corner of the main menu, so would not need to be patched.)

However, there is a FIX for broken Imp Council Member quest, so you do not need to revert to an earlier save.


What is your reputation? If it gets too low people may start refusing to talk to you. If it is just the generic people in Verdistis, they don't have a lot to say normally (just a comment, with no dialog options).

Now i got the patch, and i have the imp councilor. I did go back one save. But tnx anyway raze.

I have about 20 in rep, but i recalled that it was more quests from ppl (with names not just "poor citizen") inside some of the houses.

I think i got a old game cd... It's no re-release.
