Divine Divinty 2 - Updated with 1.3 patch

The only real problem I am having is selecting any resolution in-game higher than my desktop. I like my desktop set to 800x600. When I launch the game the max resolution options I get are my desktop (800x600) and below. If I set my desktop resolution Higher, then the in-game available resolution will also increase. Changing resolution in the XML (PROFILES) to Higher than my desk top does not fix the problem - the XML (and Resolution in-game) will simply revert back to my desktop Resolution. Even changing the properties on the XML to READ ONLY will not prevent the in-game resolution from reverting back to the Desktop Resolution. Turning ON or OFF any graphic resolution options in-game does not fix this problem either. The work around for this problem is simply setting my desktop resolution to the desired resolution I wish to select in-game, but then I must keep my desk resolution higher than 800x600.

AS a side note (And not a problem that I must have resolved), I would like to see in-game AA support for Divine Divinity 2. Trying to force the AA from the Nvidia control panel does not work, neither does trying to change the name of the Divine Divinity 2 .exe

Raze - Thanks for trying to Help - But as you have already determined, I have already been through everything you posted in reply with no results. This is not a issue with my system, but with the game itself and I am not the only person who is having this issue. Whether its a compatibility problem with my system or a bug in the game itself - its still a divine divinty 2 issue as its the only game I have out of many that does this. As I stated above, I have a work around - so I am content at the moment. I would however, like to see this issue fixed, not only for me, but the others who are still having this issue.

As a final note, Do you know if the problem has been officialy addressed, so that we might have some hope of seeing it resolved in a future patch?

Thanks

Something like Display Changer could make your workaround easier, if you are currently doing it manually (I haven't tried it).
"Display Changer changes the display resolution, runs a program, then restores the original settings. It can also change the resolution permanently and rearrange the monitors in a multiple-monitor setup."

There hasn't been many details released about the patch, just bug fixes in general, engine optimizations and graphics updates. Some time ago they mentioned the bug with missing text for Keara's statues (in the NA release) would be fixed in the next patch, but off the top of my head I think that's the only specific one mentioned.
